Value editor

Introduction

Many tools contain value fields. Some of them can only contain a constant value, but most of them can contain a Formula. Formulas can be Constants, but also Elements or calculations. To help you build these Formulas we have this Value Editor. It can help you selecting the right Elementname, using the correct path but it will also help you to use brackets the proper way. Also there is a list with all the Formula Functions available.

Element

Chose an Element.

Alt. path

Dropdown with all paths to the Element (relative or absolute).

Button + (L)

Using the left

button, the selected Element and its path are copied to the memofield at the location of the cursor.

Function

List with Formula Functions.

Button + (R)

Using the right

button, the selected Function is copied to the memofield at the location of the cursor.
