Format Types

Introductie

In an Out Adapter you can select the Format Type to use. Sometimes your XML documents should contain a different decimal separator symbol depending on the purpose of its use. For example many backoffice systems use American notation (decimal separator = .) while human readable documents should contain a notation depending on the target country. For every defined Format Type you can declare a format string per Element Type. This way you can not only change the decimal separator and thousand separator symbols, but you can change the formatting of numbers, date and currency also. In SoftRules® you can use an Out Adapter for every purpose by giving it a dedicated Format Type.
